Our embroidered cards create jobs for marginalised communities in Bangladesh.

They have been made by Swajan crafts, a fair trade group in Bangladesh who specialise in creating beautiful hand embroidered greeting cards and using handmade paper from recycled waste materials.

The group uses traditional techniques to create their designs in applique, embroidery, patchwork and mirror work. The paper is made using discarded jute or cotton from the garment industry. The group work with over 600 handicraft producers who benefit from a safe working environment and flexible hours as well as often providing the primary source of income for their family.

The purchase of these cards help the artisans earn a fair and dignified wage and build a brighter future for their families.
